Joining a Church and advice from co-workers!!!!!!!!!!

so im obviously out mentally....i havent da-ed but i cant care less!

but.....my co workers are encouraging me to find and join a church.

this person is particularly "wisdomonian" meaning she seems to solve and assist many an ailing indicidual in my field.

for any org/corp to survive it needs to reinvent itself continually to cope with everchanging markets, public opinions and trends.

this is bad news for an org that prides itself on worshipping an unchangeable god.

so how does the wt reinvent itself while maintaining a"no variation of the turning of the shadow "..blah blah?.

Yea i guess ive narrowed it to oveido/winter springs/lake mary/windermere and sarasota or so....or jax if i can convice my wife! But alas it deoends on work! Im a physical therapist assistant so inhave to line up a job beforehand! Tough!

So my wife is slowly waking up! But cognitive dissonance is thick indeed! My wife knows the GB are false in many ways but she still holds to the "theyre more right than others!"

I told her that we dont know because we havent really seen what others preach...she agreed. She is scared of apostate material...she wants to move and be free but her callused and doctrinated mind still sees truth insome of this.

so i told her that of course thered be some truths....if it was all false then all would leave! Anyways i herd your wise counsl again!

Since we are inforeign territory lets learn together! What shall i present my wife with? Ive expressd views of ray franz, "real apostates", criticism to the org--and she still holds on to some things...saying franzs book is only a perspective...of courseni told her to read it...

But should i firs give her cult examples to notice? Should i be more critical to the FDS/GB? She already knows and agrees they are false...

Or should i go scriptural?

Wow thanks everybody! I recently vacationed in a suburb of jacksonville and found it nice. But its too far from my wifes family. I havent been to branden or bradenton, and i remember summers being hot in orlando--i did like oviedo, winter springs, and lake mary tho....merritt island seems to have decent schools and of course beach.

Movings tough! :-) but i love the freedom!

i drove through floral city once and thought it TOO woodsy for my taste. But ill look into surrounding areas.

so ill come down there soon and check these areas out to see what might be best.

I know st johns county has the best schools in the state, as does oviedo and lake mary i think?

another good conversation my wife yesterday!

i got her to read the main page at jwfacts and she was astounded by the lawsuits for protecting pedophiles, the un.

she didnt complete the whole page becuse she clicked on the links to those subjects.. we talked about them and she agreed with it.

Oub--its a doublethink...--like other orgs JWs are imperfect but they Re the closest to the truth. I told her that that is based on limited knowledge of other religions. Then i told her that there are a ton of odganizations claiming to be the truth And many are cults...her eyes widened a little and i just let it hang in the air.

Ive learned how emotionally intelligent my wife can be...knowing how she feels and expressing it openly so i can understand. So shes open about this war in her. How she understands and agrees with what i say but because she was raised this way, is primed to respond differently...very interesting
